Editorial Policies & Publication Ethics

Editorial Policies & Publication Ethics

The journal adheres to the highest standards of scholarly integrity and transparency in compliance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.

1. Peer Review Process

The journal employs a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review model for all original research submissions. Under this policy, the identities of both authors and reviewers remain completely anonymous throughout the evaluation workflow.

  • Initial Screening & Originality: Upon submission, manuscripts undergo a preliminary desk evaluation by the Executive Editorial Board to assess thematic alignment with the journal's scope, adherence to author guidelines, and academic originality via automated plagiarism detection software.
  • Expert Review: Manuscripts passing initial screening are assigned to at least two independent external peer reviewers specializing in the manuscript’s specific subject area.
  • Editorial Decisions: Reviewers submit comprehensive evaluation reports recommending one of the following decisions: (Accept without revisions / Accept with minor revisions / Re-evaluate after major revisions / Reject).
  • Adjudication: In the event of conflicting evaluations (acceptance vs. rejection), the manuscript is referred to a third independent reviewer for definitive adjudication.

2. Conflict of Interest Policy

The journal ensures that all editorial decisions are free from inappropriate commercial, institutional, or personal bias:

  • Author Disclosure: Authors must explicitly declare any financial support, institutional sponsorships, or professional relationships that could potentially compromise or influence the research findings.
  • Editorial Impartiality: Editors must recuse themselves from managing or adjudicating submissions where they have a conflict of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or familial relationships with the authors.
  • Submissions by Editorial Board Members: Submissions authored or co-authored by Editorial Board members are processed through an independent editorial track. The author-editor is strictly barred from accessing the editorial dashboard for that submission, ensuring the integrity of the standard double-blind peer review process.
  • Reviewer Neutrality: Reviewers are required to decline review invitations immediately if they identify any potential competing interests regarding the authors, institutions, or subject matter.

3. Plagiarism & Research Integrity Policy

The journal enforces a zero-tolerance policy regarding scientific misconduct, plagiarism, data falsification, and redundant publication:

  • Submissions must represent entirely original scholarship that has not been previously published in whole or in part, in any language, and is not currently under consideration elsewhere.
  • Manuscripts are screened against scholarly databases. Submissions exceeding standard citation and similarity thresholds without proper attribution are subject to immediate rejection.
  • If proven academic misconduct or copyright infringement is identified post-publication, the journal reserves the right to issue a formal Retraction notice in accordance with COPE Retraction Guidelines.

4. Open Access & Copyright Policy

  • Open Access: This is a fully open-access journal. All articles are freely available online immediately upon publication without embargo periods or subscription barriers, supporting the global dissemination of knowledge.
  • Licensing: Published articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author and the journal as the source of original publication are properly cited.
  • Author Copyright: Authors retain unrestricted copyright and all proprietary rights in their published work without limitations, granting the journal a non-exclusive license for first publication.

5. Digital Preservation & Archiving

To ensure permanent access and long-term digital preservation, published issues and individual articles are systematically deposited into open digital repositories and international indexing databases, securing permanent scholarly accessibility.
