  Transformation of Practices and Representations in Light of Technological, Linguistic, Spatial, and Intellectual Changes

  In the context of the rapid transformations shaping the contemporary world, and the need to reconsider the modes of knowledge production and representation, this first issue of the Journal of Multidisciplinary Research Perspectives in the Social Sciences and Humanities proposes a scholarly approach that reflects the dynamic interaction between fields of knowledge and establishes an integrative vision that goes beyond traditional disciplinary boundaries. This issue is structured around a central theme: the transformation of practices and representations in light of technological, linguistic, spatial, and intellectual changes. The contributions approach reality from multiple perspectives, combining empirical analysis with theoretical reflection.

  In the field of education sciences, the issue opens with a study that examines the impact of modern technologies on reshaping educational practices. It focuses on the use of immersive technologies and artificial intelligence to enhance collaborative learning within the Moroccan school context, highlighting changes in the roles of educational actors and patterns of pedagogical interaction. This direction is further developed through a study on the teaching of science in French in the Oriental region of Morocco, which explores teachers’ perceptions and practices, revealing the tension between language policies and classroom realities. A third study addresses the teaching of life and earth sciences through field trips, showing the gap between pedagogical concepts, official guidelines, and actual practice, thus reflecting the challenges of implementing educational reforms in practice. A fourth study examines the school project as a mechanism for improving school performance and reinforcing social values, focusing on its construction in the Moroccan context and the difficulties of integrating values into educational practice. Extending this focus on knowledge construction, the journal moves to the field of linguistic studies, where the concept of “language planning” is explored through a comparative analysis between Arabic and Western linguistics, highlighting issues of conceptual grounding, translation, and circulation across different cultural contexts.

  In geography, space is approached as a dynamic structure in continuous formation, through a study of the Taourirt–El Aïoun Sidi Mellouk corridor as a model reflecting spatial transformations between historical extension and contemporary restructuring in light of economic and social changes. In the field of religious anthropology, one study examines death and its rituals among Moroccan Jews, exploring the interplay between continuity and change in symbolic practices, and reflecting the persistence and transformation of identity within a complex cultural context. In philosophy and Islamic thought, attention is given to the spiritual experience through a study of the senses and imagination in the Sufism of Ibn Arabi, where sensory knowledge intersects with mystical intuition in shaping a vision of existence. The issue concludes with a philosophical study on the relationship between religion and philosophy, tracing its development from connection in Ibn Rushd to separation in Spinoza, opening new perspectives on the transformation of philosophical reason between the medieval and modern periods.

  This diversity of topics and approaches reflects a deep unifying concern: the effort to understand the transformations of human beings, knowledge, and society within a multidisciplinary framework that values integration rather than fragmentation. As we present this issue to readers and researchers, we hope it will contribute to enriching scholarly debate and opening new avenues for reflection on the questions of the social sciences and humanities within a local context open to global challenges.

  نسعى عبر العدد الثاني من مجلة "آفاق بحثية متعددة التخصصات" إلى ترسيخ أفق إبستمولوجي؛ تتقاطع فيه العلوم الاجتماعية، والإنسانية، والتربوية لتقديم تفسيرات مركبة للظواهر الإنسانية. وإذا كان التعدد المنهجي والموضوعاتي سمة للمجلة، فإن الخيط الناظم لنصوص هذا العدد يتمثل في تفكيك جدلية البنيوي والذاتي؛ عبر رصد كيفية تشكل الهويات، والمواقف، والسياسات تحت إكراهات البنى والمؤسسات والمجالات، وفي المقابل، مسارات استجابة الفاعلين بآليات التكيف، والتفاوض، والمقاومة.
